Aug 1, 2018Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Manuel Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Pallbearers will be Vince Wright, Ben Wilkins, Jeff Wilkins, Jared Warner, Tony Warner and Rodney Carter.She was born June 19, 1950, in Obion County, daughter of the late Charles Benjamin and Hazel (McQueen) Carter.She had been employed as a caregiver and was a homemaker. She was a member of Walnut Log Baptist Church.She is survived by three daughters, Cammie Bratton Armour and Shanda Higgins, both of Union City, and Pam Wright of Obion; one son, Steve Bratton of Union City; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann “Boo” Armour of Woodland Mills and Sue Parnell of the Walnut Log community; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.She was also preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Wilkins; and three brothers, Ted Carter, Joe Carter and Jerry Carter.Condolences may be sent to the family at the funeral home website: www.emfuneralhome.com.Published 7.27.18 Related Posts...
